Zima students visited Hollywood Sound Editor Larry Blake’s Master Class on 31st July 2007 at the Sea Princess Hotel, Juhu, Mumbai. The event was organized by Digi Design. Larry Blake’s film credits include Ocean's Eleven, Ocean's Twelve, Ocean's Thirteen, Traffic, Erin Brockovich, Syriana and Sex, Lies, and Videotape, Kafka, Robocop 2 etc.

Actor Mr. Surendra Pal, visited Zima for a guest lecture & a workshop on Acting on Friday, the 15th of June 2007. Among his innumerable other roles, the character of Acharya Dronacharya in the serial Mahabharata was one of the most significant of his works. Mr. Surendra Pal
Prominent Works: FILMS: Khuda Gawah, Lakshya, Bardaasht, Indian,Sehar, Jo Bole So Nihaal, Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo, Mr. Romeo, Return of Jewel Thief, Platform, etc. SERIALS: Mahabharata, Shaktimaan & innumerable others. He conducted a workshop & observed the students perform acting exercises.

A 15 day workshop on Kalaripayattu - the martial art form of Kerala, was organized at ZIMA exclusively for the Acting students from 14th May to 31st May 2007.  The workshop was conducted by the famous Kalari Trainer & Acting teacher, N K Sajeev. The workshop taught the students Flexibility, Stamina, Grace, Rhythm, Focusing  – Inward Concentration, Alertness, Dynamism, Use of space etc. It also helped them to  learn to breathe correctly & have a better Body & Mind Co-ordination.

ZIMA conducted various workshops for the students of Bachelors of Mass Media Communication of M.K.Sanghavi College on 18 th November 2006 . Over seventy students attended workshops like Acting, Editing, Direction, Cinematography, Writing, Sound Recording, Film Animation and Visual Effects and Smoke. The students showed keen interest in the workshops and every student had a choice of their interest to choose from. This workshop gave good exposure to the students to choose their profession after their Mass Media education. Many students were so enlightened by the professionalism and friendliness of the faculties that they further enquired about admission procedures and course details. The workshop held by ZIMA has opened a new career option for the students of M.K.Sanghvi College.
